The entire hall is dominated by a huge special thermoformed dome in polycarbonate having diameter19 m, composed of 126 elements and completely supported by a light metallic structure.The artist Amedeo Fiorese coated the plastic suspended surface with a mosaic of 480 square metres. The mosaic tesserae, accurately chosen to realize a cromatic gradation that rises spiral towards the centre of the dome.
