Giant self-supporting modular domes are still the pride of Caoduro S.p.a. regarding technology applied to thermo-plastic products.

Unique in its genre, they are self-supporting, do not need  metallic profiles and dimensions can reach 800 cm approximately.

Mathematic model for static calculation of this manufacture was realized by the engineering faculty of the University of Padua.

They can be single wall, if there are not particular requests of thermal insulation for example in external coverings, or double wall for places with controlled temperatures where a lower transmittance value reduces thermal dispersion giving higher internal comfort. Being the dome completely transparent, light passes uniformly and the absence of metallic profiles ensures that there are not problems of compatibility between materials regarding dilatation as temperatures changes, so there are no thermal bridges.

Standard sheet colours are transparent or opal white.
